This is a fantastic gig from the U.S. club tour in support of the "Exile" album. Gary was touring the States for the first time since the "I, Assassin" tour back in 1982 mostly playing in clubs with a capacity of 700-800 people. This tour saw the harder industrial edge really developing and is covered in some depth in Gary's autobiography "Praying To The Aliens" giving the impression that it was a tour he clearly enjoyed. The unusually named Berbatit's Pan in Portland gets a special mention as it was in fact a restaurant with a tiny stage and no dressing room meaning at the end of the set the band stood next to the pinball machine in full view of the audience before coming back on for the encore! Keyboardist David Brooks shouted the immortal line "Let's rock this restaurant!" as the band took the stage.....and from the sound of this recording they certainly did! As a bonus this download also includes Marilyn Manson's guest appearance from the Hollywood Palace, Los Angeles on the 19th May where he joined Gary onstage for "Down In The Park" - Do you have the rest of this show?
