Max Bell Arena, Calgary, Canada 12th November 1980 (Teletour)

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=002SO9CY

The final date of the Teletour! The Final tour! (Well it was meant to be, I think we are all thankful it wasn't!). This is AWESOME soundboard quality and is a true must for all. The Introductions and thanks just before "We Are Glass" are pretty interesting and features the classic remark "This is Gary Numan, he sings for us!".

Many many thanks to Mark Rice for sending this one in.

Rocking The Blitz Club Documentary

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0TJUZ6HT

This is a BBC4 documentary hosted by Midge Ure about the legendary London club which is widely acknowledged to be the birth place of the New Romantics. This half hour (ish) documentary features interviews with many leading lights from the Blitz Club including Steve Strange and Rusty Egan from Visage (and Midge for that matter!), Gary Kemp and many others.

Numan is interviewed about breaking down the barriers of the musical mainstream about the 15 minute mark.

Steve Strange & Rusty Eagan's Blitz Club web site with lots more info and photos can be found here... http://www.theblitzclub.com/about.php

The Leo Sayer Show 1984

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CFI78N2O

An audio rip of Gary's performance on the Leo Sayer Show from February 1984. This is Gary duetting with Leo Sayer for "On Broadway" before performing "This Is New Love" on his own. Remastered by Mark Rice so it sounds great...thanks Mark!

This performance can be seen on youtube....anyone know why the Coneheads costumes?

Wulfrun Hall, Wolverhampton, England 3rd September 2006

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QMLE4DS1

2006 was a pretty busy year....The Jagged Tour started in the UK before moving through Europe then onto America and even taking in a couple of Canadian dates too! There were also the 2 Festival dates of Guilfest and the Electric Picnic in Ireland not forgetting the Jagged launch gig at the Forum in March. All this before the short but excellent Telekon Tour in December!

This gig though is one of those special one off gigs that seem to happen every year that aren't attached to any tour....although this is very much a Jagged show of course and that's always a good thing!

Now here's the disclaimer.....this is a very good audience recording and I would highly recommend it however it has 2 additional tracks than the set list on file at the excellent Dead Heaven site so the date/venue may be wrong. http://www.dead-heaven.co.uk/oneoffs2006.htm Everything else matches so I think this is the correct info for the gig.

Academy, Manchester 7th December 2006 (Telekon - Live Tour)

After a very busy 2006 promoting "Jagged" it was time to re-visit the past with the 4 date "Telekon" Tour. The last date of the tour at London's Forum was recorded and released officially as "Telekon - Live" which I'm sure everyone has. The other dates were Nottingham on the 5th (previously posted here http://numaboots.blogspot.com/2011/05/rock-city-nottingham-england-5th.html ) and Glasgow on the 6th. Always a fan favourite this is one not to be missed.

Described as Irelands version of Glastonbury this is Gary's appearance at the Electric Picnic from 2006 which seems a fitting time to post as he plays the Ben & Jerry's Sundae Festival this weekend. This loads as one file rather than having the tracks seperated and is just under an hour long.

The Ritz, New York 26th November 1982 (Assassin Tour)

www.megaupload.com/?d=JG8R8B38

This was sent in by Mark via our Facebook group and is "the best quality recording from the 1982 tour". I would again suggest this is for completists and hardcore fans as the sound isn't great but it is a good glimpse into what was a very important tour. This one has long been available from our friends over at The Numan Folder and is presented here in one easy download with our thanks once again to them and to Mark for uploading it in this format.

Interview 1984

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KYBRIW5D

This is an interview from 1984 sent in by Musky03 but I have very little info on it. It's just under 20 minutes long and pretty interesting as Gary covers quite a wide range of subjects including being managed by his dad, working with Tik & Tok and his plans to buy the Harvard which he flew for many years after.

Perkin's Palace, Pasadena, U.S.A. 8th October 1982 (Assassin Tour)

After "retiring" from touring after the Teletour (something he regrets to this day) Gary was back on stage and with a new album and image too! This is the first night of the "Assassin" tour sent in by Musky03 who also has made some nice cover artwork too - many thanks as always! Quality wise it's pretty murky so it's one for completists and for it's historical significance.

This is a great sounding audience sourced recording from "The Touring Principle 1980" tour, it's very clear and only has a little audience chatter. This is another one sent in from Musky03 who has also provided some great CD artwork for those wishing to burn onto disc - Cheers Musky!

Alexandra, Birmingham, England 22nd October 1989 (The Skin Mechanic Tour)

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3NH5FQ5D

This fantastic recording has been sent in by Musky03 - The first of many hopefully! He has also created CD covers for some of the previously posted recordings so check out the comments sections for the links. Many Thanks Musky!

This is a pretty decent audience source from "The Skin Mechanic Tour" which featured a pretty good set list including a fair chunk of the "Metal Rhythm" album. This is the full show and as such is a great companion piece to the official release "Skin Mechanic - Live".
